Alona Palm Beach Resort & Restaurant is located on a slightly elevated area in the middle of a tropical garden, spacious and quiet. A 60 meter wide coconut palm grove divides the 12 luxury villas from the white beach. Almost all villas offer pool, coconut palm grove and sea view. The open restaurant, overlooking the pool and sea, offers excellent Filipino and international cuisine, prepared by an experienced German chief. Accommodations All the villas are elegantly furnished, either with a king size bed (180 x 200 cm) or two double sized beds (140 x 200 cm). Each villa is built with a terrace with sun beds, table, chairs & ceiling fan and equipped with en-suite bathrooms, split type air conditioners and ceiling fan, satellite TV, telephone with dataport for Internet access, personal safe box, mini bar, tea/coffeemaker and hairdryer. Facilities What a treasure Alona Palm Beach Resort is indeed with its luxurious villa accommodations and unobtrusive service, making it a popular choice for honeymooners. The resort is immaculate and well kept. Despite their odd shape, the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The villas are built, in some consideration with the natural terrain, such that each one offers a great view of either the pool, the coconut palm grove, or the sea. Food and beverage facilities are limited to an open-restaurant and a pool bar. The menu, however, more than makes up for the lack of restaurant choices. Many of those wanting a swim at the beach might not get passed the pleasant and huge outdoor infinity pool located in the center of the resort. Sport and recreation facilities offered at the resort are few, but are in sync with the relaxed atmosphere. The more active tourist can count on alternative options available in nearby establishments located along Alona Beach. Rates provide good value for money, and the staff’s friendly demeanor, not to mention its proximity to world-class dive sites, make Alona Palm Beach Resort one of Bohol’s best kept secrets – up until now that is. Amenities Separate accommodation can be offered for a yaya/babysitter which accompanies a family, in a separate native style building.
