From December 2006 to August 2007, the resort has undergone a total renovation and revamp with all the structures in the resort being newly built. Today the resort boasts of twelve modern villas some of which have private plunge pools, all with modern amenities our guests have come to expect, while still keeping the use of native materials such as bamboo, nipa and local hardwoods.

Buri accredited by the Philippine Department of Tourism and offers Puerto Gallera's only fully dedicated Spa with an internationally trained staff and breathtaking mountain views and inspiring vistas of the bay.

How to get there

Puerto Galera is approximately three and one half hours from Manila. Two hours by bus and and one and one half hours boat ride from Batangas pier to Puerto Galera. The most convenient way is to take the aircon bus of sikat tours that departs daily at 8:00Am. For those travellers who cannot make the 8:00AM departure time, it is highly recommended to hire a private car to Batangas pier. For budget conscious travellers, there are six public bus stations all over Metro Manila. (two each in Cubao, Alabang and Taft) to Batangas pier.

The ferry boat from Batangas pier to Puerto Galera leaves daily every hour from 0800H to 1800H. Roundtrip Transfers from Manila to the Resort are available or included in the package we provide.
